Biography of Dr. Ronald Espinal
Dr. Ronald Espinal is an assistant professor of pediatrics and director of clinical services in the Section of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Comer Children’s Hospital of the University of Chicago. He completed medical school at Boston University; his pediatric residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago; and his developmental and behavioral pediatrics fellowship at Brown Medical School. During this time, he completed a project to promote kindergarten readiness among Hispanic children. He received numerous teaching awards for community pediatrics. Dr. Espinal’s current interests include preschool children with disabilities and family supports in the preschool years.
