Speech

If a child needs assistance with articulation or fluency, a speech and language pathologist has many individual ways to teach the child to learn to use their lips, mouth and tongue to create words. Once the words can be produced, the speech therapist will assist the child in organizing incoming information to produce strands of spoken thoughts that become conversations.

A speech pathologist can assist a child in learning to chew and swallow safely so they can grow strong bones and bodies to support their play and physical activities.
